About Us
Janie Jacobs and Cheryl Schneider bring their experience and vision to every project, recognizing the possibilities and bringing together the elements of design. Our education and training allows us to work effectively with our clients and professional architects on projects involving all stages of construction.
The readers of Indianapolis Woman magazine have twice voted Jacobs/Schneider their “favorite interior designers”. Our work has received numerous awards including Indiana ASID Awards for Excellence and the City of Indianapolis Monumental Award for InteriorDesign.
Janie Jacobs, ASID, graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. She has served the American Society of Interior Designers as Indiana Chapter president as well as in regional and national positions.
Cheryl Schneider, Associate Member ASID, graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Merchandising and Marketing. After working in Fashion Merchandising and Buying, she completed an Interior Design degree at Butler University.
